What should I bring?

  • Michigan Fishing License - All Species. It can be obtained at any bait shop, Meijer, Walmart, or online.

  • Snacks and drinks (no glass).

  • Cooler to transport your catch!

  • Sunglasses and sunscreen. (Please, no spray sunscreen)

  • ABSOLUTELY NO BANANAS!!!!!!!! Bananas on a boat are considered bad luck in the nautical world.

What should I wear?

  • It can be chilly out on the water, so dress in layers. We suggest a sweatshirt or jacket to start off the morning.

  • Soft-soled shoes. No flip-flops.

  • Anything you'll need to be comfortable.

Do I need to bring equipment? 

No, we supply all equipment, rods, reels, and tackle. If you have grandpa’s favorite lure that you want to try your luck at, bring it!!!!!!

How do I pay? 

$200 deposit is required to book a trip. Contact us to submit payment! Final payment is due at the end of your trip. Cash, check, or card is accepted. Note: there will be a $50 up charge when using a credit card.

Is fishing better in the morning or afternoon?

Generally fishing is better in the morning.
